adaptavility as a design strategy

✧ Graduated with honors in the final thesis project.

“Recovery of a space with architectural value, using the strategy of adaptability and durability of a brand, both at an urban and interior level, facing the challenge of constantly changing trends.”

This project explores how architectural elements define a brand’s identity in a space with architectural value. It examines which elements can endure over time and which can be altered with minimal environmental impact when updating a brand.

Retail spaces must constantly evolve to keep up with trends, often leading to wasteful renovations. This project proposes adaptability as a strategy to balance brand identity with flexibility, allowing spaces to respond to market shifts without excessive reconstruction.

The interior strategy is defined by precision rather than transformation. Through the adjustment of layout, material continuity, and curated elements, the space evolves without losing coherence, allowing new uses and atmospheres to emerge from what is already there.

The intervention operates through the reconfiguration of spatial relationships at an urban scale. By opening, connecting, and redistributing the existing structure, the project enhances circulation, activates underused areas, and establishes new points of interaction between architecture and public life.
